The Comedians:

Headliner - Matt Wright

Matt Wright is a two time JUNO Award losing Canadian stand-up comedian, writer, and actor who has appeared on televised galas for Just For Laughs, CBC, and CTV. He played The Weatherman on Season 2 of Son of a Critch. He has opened for John Mulaney, Jerry Seinfeld, Martin Short, and Theo Von.

Matt has written for six seasons of This Hour Has 22 Minutes where he was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award, as well as two episodes of Still Standing. As a filmmaker, his short "Snowstorm Roulette" was nominated for Best International Short at the Austin Comedy Festival.

"Matt Wright is definitely one of my favourites to watch these days. What I like about him is that he’s perfect for a festival: he can go into a room and make everybody laugh from age 19 to 90.”

Feature Comedian - Todd Graham

For over three decades Todd Graham has been one of Canada’s top comedic artists. His 1987 pre-internet mash-up, Apocalypse Pooh has been celebrated by Film Threat, Complex, CineAction, The Believer and The Whitney Museum of Art. The short film was featured by CBC Toronto and since going online has gained over two million views.

As a stand-up comedian Todd’s performed at New York Comedy Festival, Just For Laughs Montreal as well as on multiple Galas at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Halifax Comedy Festival and Hubcap Comedy Festival. His comedy has been showcased on national television with CBC, CTV Comedy Channel and iChannel and his debut album, Bustin’ Loose! can regularly be heard on SiriusXM.

MC - Jeff Paul

With his unmistakable charm, Jeff Paul pushes the boundaries of comedy leaving no topics off limit. Jeff’s quick wit and unrestrained attitude often result in raw, embarrassing stories at his own expense. Jeff has opened for Louis CK, Harland Williams, Gilbert Gottfried, among others, can be seen on Roast Battle Canada on CTV Comedy, and heard on CBC Radio’s Laugh Out Loud, was selected for ‘New Faces’ at JFL42 in Toronto and toured cross-country as a regular Yuk Yuk’s headliner. In 2014,

Jeff founded the Icebreakers Comedy Festival in his hometown of Niagara-on-the-Lake, and in 2022, he co-launched The Big Sound Comedy Festival in Parry Sound.

Recognized as one of the top MCs nationwide, most notably, Jeff has hosted the Northern Ontario Music & Film Awards, and prestigious fundraisers for the Princess Margaret Hospital using his live auction skills to help raise $200K.

For 5 years he ran one of Toronto's best weekly shows, Dope N’ Mic Comedy, at the famed Underground Comedy Club. It was the first 420-friendly show in Just For Laughs history to be included as a part of their festival. He also hosts the Pro Show every Thursday night at Toronto's renowned Comedy Bar. His debut album, "Delightfully Dark," is available through Comedy Records and on all major streaming platforms.
