Join us for BIG LAUGHS under the BIG TENT at Trestle Brewing Company on the shores of Georgian Bay! In partnership with Icebreakers Comedy, we present a lineup of 3 superb comedians for a great night of entertainment!

Details:

  • The show will be happening in the Big Event Tent at Trestle Brewing. Please arrive no later than 8pm.
  • There will be a shortened food menu available to order in the tent up to 9pm. If you want to enjoy the full menu for dinner before the show, please book a separate reservation ahead of the event in the Trestle Taproom or patio.

  • Groups of 6 or fewer for table seating may be sat communally with other folks. If you want to sit with another group that you know is attending, send us an email - events@trestlecraftbeer.ca.

  • Content Warning: This is a 19+ event and certainly not a "clean" comedy show! Prepare yourself for profane language and content. If you're looking for cleaner comedy, you'll want to go to the CBC Gala Show at the Stockey Centre instead.

The Comedians

  • Rebecca Kohler

    Co-feature

    An award-winning stand-up comic, Rebecca Kohler has made several appearances at festivals such as the Just For Laughs Festival, the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, the Halifax Comedy Festival, among others, and has toured and performed at clubs and venues throughout North America including Yuk Yuks, Absolute Comedy, Comedy Bar, the Hollywood Improv and the Comedy Store. A Canadian Comedy Award Winner and 2019 Juno Nominee for Best Comedy Album, Kohler is no stranger to the accolades available to a successful comedian. To boot, she made her debut as a TV writer in 2010 on Canada’s infamous news-satire show, This Hour Has 22 Minute (CBC). Since then, Rebecca found her niche in 30-minute scripted comedies, being staffed on the likes of The Sticky (Amazon), Humour Resources (CBC), Happy Together (CBS), Schitt’s Creek (CBC/Netflix), Workin’ Moms (CBC/Netflix) and Kim’s Convenience (CBC/Netflix).

    Rebecca has also melded her writing skills and stand-up background as a writer for the Just For Laughs Galas including hosts such as Sarah Silverman, Mikey Day, Fortune Feimster, Roy Wood Jr., Wanda Sykes, Broad City, Whitney Cummings and Jim Gaffigan (CBC, Comedy Network,HBO Canada), to name a few. Rebecca’s life motto is: Hey, relax. Tomorrow’s another day and you’re a great person.
  • Moe Ismail

    Co-feature
    Moe Ismail is an Egyptian-Canadian stand-up comedian bringing new levels of energy, diversity, and most importantly, authenticity to the entertainment space. Since immigrating to Canada at age 9, Moe has carved out a name for himself over 13+ years on stage, touring as a national headliner and racking up major accolades. In 2023, he was named one of Just For Laughs’ New Faces in Montreal, hosted the Prism Prize Awards for the Canadian Academy of Film and Television, and recorded a set for CBC Radio’s Laugh Out Loud. His momentum didn’t stop there- he co-headlined Just For Laughs Toronto, appeared on CBC’s The National, and in 2024 and 2025, taped sets for New Wave of Standup and the Halifax Comedy Festival, and performed at Icebreakers and Hubcap Comedy Festivals. Moe has shared stages with comedy heavyweights
    like Colin Mochrie, Todd Barry, and Marc Maron, and just wrapped a cross-country co-headlining tour.
    With his keen storytelling skills and fun-loving ambience Moe uses uplifting energy to connect audiences through laughter and relatable truths.
  • Jean Paul

    Trinidadian born, Jean Paul’s comedic style is the perfect blend of laidback Caribbean vibes and vibrant Toronto energy. His international comedy appeal has allowed him to perform extensivelyacross Canada, the U.S., the Caribbean, Israel, South Africa and the U.K. No stranger to the festival circuit, Jean Paul has performed at Montreal’s Just For Laughs Festival, Toronto’s JFL42, and the Halifax and Winnipeg Comedy Festivals. In addition to his award nominated television writing credits, Jean Paul has also made his mark on TV with appearances on The Comedy Network, CBC, CTV Comedy and Kevin Hart’s LOL Network. He is currently the regular on air correspondent for CityTV’s award winning Breakfast Television.
